I knew it would probably start sooner or later. I'm getting comment spam. Hopefully Blogger does something soon to ensure the people leaving comments are actual people, like using a Turing test. Meanwhile, please excuse any spam comments that may appear on this blog until I find them and eradicate them.For those who actually participate in this sort of business, I'm holding up a prominent finger in your general direction.

I've experienced that as well. What a pain in the ass. I would never use a service or buy anything promoted through Spam just on the principle of the matter.
