This is my best complaint for the week

If you're a Habs fan living in Calgary, you're likely going through withdrawal symptoms right now. It's bad enough (but understandable) that you won't get to see any Canadiens hockey games on English CBC on HNIC, unless they're playing Toronto. But you're probably wondering why you can't even find the broadcast in French on the CBC station from Edmonton (CBXFT - channel 11). I was wondering too, so I wrote them and asked what's up. They used to have an agreement with RDS (another French broadcaster from Quebec) to simulcast the Montreal games on Saturdays, but that agreement ran out this summer. RDS chose not to renew that agreement, leaving countless Habs fans out in the cold. Luckily, Shaw TV makes it possible to subscribe to RDS "a-la-carte" for $2.50 a month. The good news is that RDS happens to carry every Habs game - not just the Saturday games.
