I couldn't write anything this funny. A member of Congress has been blogging about his challenge to subsist on $21 in food stamps (something quite foreign to Canadians) for a week. He thought he had it all figured out until he tried to board a flight with his food in his luggage. That's when the TSA nicked his PB & J.

I heard this story on the radio today...it was said he took it in stride...but unlike a zillion and a half people on food stamps what would they have done. I live in a weird country.
And no, you don't come across as pompous in your blog...just in case you were wondering.
