Brighton MI has passed an ordinance that prohibits "insulting another person or committing physical violence in public places, or harassing another person by telephone, e-mail or other forms of communication."One of the paragraphs of the ordinance reads: "It shall be unlawful for a person to engage in a course of conduct or repeatedly commit acts that alarm or seriously annoy another person and that serve no legitimate purpose.
That's pretty vague if you ask me. Did I mention that I think it's vague? And legally obscure. And quite vague. Hello? [tapping the microphone] Is this thing on?
