Simply alarming

Darlene and I are shopping for new alarm clocks. We've had ours (matching his and hers) for countless years and the buttons used to set the time (actual and wake-up) have had it.

Do you think we could find just a simple, elegant alarm clock, with no radio, no iPod dock, no voice activated anything, no toaster, no stock ticker, no coffee maker?

If anyone knows of a great, use-to-use, large digit, elegant digital alarm clock with no bells and whistles, let me know in the comments.

Have you looked at Home Outfitters yet? We bought one from them a couple years ago ... works great and it shines the time onto your ceiling.

I have two alarms, one is a little travel alarm with lithium battery that does nothing but tell the time and give a beepipty beep in the morning. My ancient radio is set on music and NPR so I get news at 6 am. Works just fine. Retro
